About
Bruce Wallace Dobbins is a retired Naval Intelligence Officer with over 40 years of military and government operational and intelligence experience. He is currently the Geospatial Intelligence Coordinator for the Norwich University Peace and War Center.
Research Interests and Expertise
Professor Dobbins focuses on restoring passenger rail service to freight lines and improving mass transit options in Vermont. Observing the region’s transportation needs has inspired research and practical solutions, with upcoming projects planned for the summer. He is also interested in exploring the expansion of hydroelectric power to support sustainable energy in the state.
