Corey Bennett

Corey Bennett, DNP, RN, RN-BC, is an experienced registered nurse, clinical instructor, and senior lecturer with over 20 years of experience. Prior to joining Norwich University in 2019, she worked as a medical-surgical nurse at the University of Vermont Medical Center, where she continues to practice in a per diem role.

Dr. Bennett earned a BSN from the University of Vermont, MSN from Norwich University, and DNP from Regis College — all while working full-time as a registered nurse. Her philosophy of nursing education focuses on integrating and collaborating in the lecture setting and applying learned knowledge through hands-on nursing care at the bedside.

Dr. Bennett is an active volunteer within the local community. She serves as the chairwoman for the American Heart Association Go Red for Women Vermont fundraiser event and is active with the Camels Hump Little League.
