Jess Robinson will discuss Paleoindian settlement patterns and stone procurement and use in the Champlain Valley and beyond. 

He will summarize what archaeology has revealed about early human occupation patterns and movements across the Northeast. Thereafter, he will explore what stone procurement and tool crafting may have meant socially or cosmologically to the earliest human entrants in the region.
