Lilian Lu
Norwich has built an incredible foundation, especially for students pursuing a cyber career in military and civilian societies.
Lu’s academic journey at Norwich has been one of distinct achievement and commitment. Beyond her accelerated Master’s program, she is a triple minor in Chinese, Information Warfare, and History in Naval Studies. She has further sharpened her skills as a member of the Cyber Leader Development Program (CLDP) – a program aimed at honing future leaders in Cyber Security.
The Corps of Cadets member is diligently working towards securing an Army Intelligence contract, with future aspirations to serve in a three-letter agency. Her work earned her the distinction of being named a Richard S. Schultz ’60 Symposium Fellow for her research regarding ethical dynamics of real-time news media through the lens of open-source intelligence on “the Gospel.” This research’s focal point is AI targeting technology in the current Israel-Gaza conflict.
Lu was a panelist at Norwich’s 30th annual Military Writers’ Symposium. The symposium theme was “Perception Wars: The Battle to Control Reality.” The only program of its kind at an American university, the Norwich University Military Writer’s Symposium convenes authors, thought leaders, and experts in the fields of military history, intelligence, and current affairs to over important perspectives on pressing global concerns.
