About

Captain Benjamin Woessner is a Marine Corps Aviation Supply Officer from Virginia Beach, VA and a graduate of Old Dominion University, Class of 2015. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a focus in Sports Management and a minor in Marketing. He was commissioned in May 2016 via Officer Candidate School in Quantico, VA.

Upon completion of The Basic School and the Aviation Supply Officer Basic Qualification Course, Captain Woessner reported for duty to the Aviation Supply Department, Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 11 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, California. During this time, Captain Woessner supported multiple inspections, as well as detached in support of Integrated Training Exercise 5-18 aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California.

In July of 2020, Captain Woessner executed orders to 2d Marine Aircraft Wing aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in Havelock, North Carolina. While there, he served as the Assistant Aviation Supply Officer within the Aviation Logistics Department. In March of 2021, he detached in support of Weapons and Tactics Instructor’s course 2-21 in Yuma, Arizona.

In May of 2022, Captain Woessner transferred to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 14 where he served as the Assistant Aviation Supply Officer for the next year.

In June of 2023, Captain Woessner executed orders to Norwich University NROTC, Northfield, Vermont, where he currently serves as Marine Officer Instructor.

Captain Woessner’s personal decorations include the Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
