About

Captain Anirud Meyyur serves as the recruiting officer for Detachment 867 at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont. At the nation’s birthplace of ROTC and within the only private senior military college in the country, he develops premier leaders of character and action through mentoring and teaching nearly 150 cadets annually.

Captain Meyyur grew up in Frederick, Maryland. He commissioned into the United States Air Force in 2017 from Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 220 at Purdue University. After two years in the United States Air Force, he transferred to the United States Space Force in September 2020.
