About

Christine Dara Reyes has served Norwich as the Clinical Education Coordinator for the Athletic Training Program and Assistant Professor since 2022. She has been researching and presenting qualitative factors impacting athletic training professional retention and resiliency for more than a decade at local, regional, and national conferences. Teaching coursework in leadership, risk management, medical conditions, and research are some of her favorite content areas, but what she loves most is creating simulations or standardized patients, student mentoring, and engaging with students about their current or future clinical experiences.

Christine has dedicated her research to understanding the mechanisms impacting retention, resiliency, mentoring, professional engagement, and burnout within the athletic training student population for more than a decade; presenting at state and regional athletic training symposiums and research summits. She also holds current board certification and state licensure as an athletic trainer and is an instructor of Stop The Bleed. As an educator, she enjoys writing standardized patients, teaching research methods, and engaging in student-led research projects and presentations.
