Lindsay Gacad teaches in the Department of English and Communications. She is also a liberal arts specialist at the Academic Achievement Center at Norwich University.
In May 2019, she received her MFA in writing and publishing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her writing has appeared in The Oakland Review, 2 Horatio, Levitate magazine, Wanderlust Journal and others.
Before moving to Vermont for graduate school, Lindsay lived in Manhattan for 13 years, where she worked as the associate director of sales development and marketing at Disney-ABC Television and served as a writing mentor for Girls Write Now, a nonprofit creative writing organization assisting students from New York City public high schools. Along with her Master of Fine Arts, Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Science in communications and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Boston University. She loves cooking, reading and writing poetry and creative nonfiction.
