About

Michan Myer, M.A., received her undergraduate degree in English and Creative Writing from Regent University and her graduate degree from Old Dominion University.

Before joining the Norwich Community in 2016, she taught both undergraduate and graduate composition courses, as well as Shakespeare and literature survey courses. She supported online course development and faculty enrichment programs as a media specialist with Old Dominion, and she developed tutor training programs, center policies, and university-wide collaboration as a writing coach.

She actively participates in writing center research communities, presenting workshops and panels on social constructivist pedagogy, the pedagogy of play in composition classrooms, and diversity in writing center spaces. At Norwich, she teaches Composition and Literature I and Composition and Literature II. Her office space is on the second floor of the Kreitzberg Library, in the former Reading Room.
