Scott Maxham

Maxham has been an instructor at Norwich University since Fall of 2018. He earned his B.S. in physical education from Norwich University in 1995, and completed his M.A. in coaching and athletic administration at Concordia University in Irvine, California.

He worked for 22 years as a K-12 physical educator at West Rutland School in Vermont. During that time, he served as the field experience instructor for Castleton University’s methods courses for physical education. He has also coached at all levels throughout his career in a variety of sports. The wealth of personal experience is brought to the lectures and lab experiences in all of his classes.

At Norwich, he teaches primarily in the physical education department, serves as the supervisor for student teaching, and advises all students in the physical education department.
