Real missions. Real Marines. Captured in paint, pencil, and ink with a perspective no photo can match.

Experience what it means to see history come to life through the eyes of the artists who were there. This exhibit features original works by Marine and civilian combat artists who created on the ground, often in real time. The urgency of their surroundings lives in every brushstroke. Lines feel frantic. Colors hold weight. These pieces do not just show what happened. They make you feel it.
Now on view at the Sullivan Museum and History Center. Admission is free and open to the public.
