Angel is a graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in student development. She has worked in a variety of higher education settings, but her passion is Career Coaching and Counseling. She has over 10 years’ experience in providing Career Services at the college level, as well as experience working in admissions and student activities.
Angel’s career advice is to start visiting the Career and Internship Center early on to learn how to build and articulate your skills and abilities. In addition to her work in college career coaching, her own career path involves a stint as a stay-at-home mom, a yoga teacher, and a small business owner! Her career journey mimics real life, things are never static and are always changing! The goal of Career Education is to be prepared to navigate those changes with ease.

Outside of work, you will find Angel spending time with her family; usually watching her son or husband play soccer or attending soccer games! She’s a fan of Manchester United, Vermont Green, and the New England Revolution. She is a certified yoga teacher and loves teaching and attending yoga classes. She also enjoys working out, hiking, walking and hanging out with her dogs, and traveling.
