Patrick Knapp ’20 has led the resurgence of Norwich University’s co-ed rifle program, bringing elite leadership and unmatched marksmanship expertise.
Under his direction, the Cadets have posted multiple standout seasons in the highly competitive Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference (MAC) and earned numerous individual athletic and academic honors.
A decorated U.S. Marine Corps veteran with over 23 years of service, Knapp served as an Infantry Unit Leader and was the Chief Instructor for the Corps’ premier infantry course. His deep operational experience and passion for mentorship have quickly propelled Norwich’s rifle program into a rising force.
A competitive shooter since high school, Knapp has played a pivotal role in the successful revival of the Norwich co-ed rifle team, positioning it as a powerhouse of precision, discipline, and academic excellence. A proud 2020 Norwich University graduate, he continues to elevate the legacy of Norwich athletics, one shot at a time.
