SSgt Travis Nelson is responsible for Administration Management, Detachment 867, Norwich University, Vermont. In this capacity, he is responsible for directing, implementing, and synchronizing programs and policies with the NER, Holm Center, and HQ AFROTC. 

He manages over 150 cadet records involving: all financial, enlistment and contracting, commissioning, administrative, medical, and a multitude of separate personnel actions equating to over 1.7M dollars annually for the entire cadet life cycle.

Sergeant Nelson Enlisted in the Air Force in August of 2018 as an administrator. He completed the Administration technical training at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, in December of 2018. He subsequently served 3 years at RAF Alconbury, UK, as a Postal Processing Specialist. He then served on the Commander Support Staff 34 Fighter Generation Squadron, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, before becoming the NCOIC Commander's Support Staff, 34 Fighter Squadron, Hill Air Force Base. SSgt Nelson has deployed once to the INDOPACOM theater in support of Chinese deterrents.
