Research Interests and Expertise

Teaching Interests: Social Mobility in American Society, Ethnic Studies, The Study of Poverty in the U.S. and around the world.

“In the realm of Social Science, there is rarely one definitive or finite answer to a pressing research question. However, through persistent research, Social Scientists get as close as possible to a solution while generating a great deal of new knowledge along the way. It is this cycle that has always drawn me to Sociology and Anthropology.”
