About
Debra has lived in beautiful Vermont for the past four years with her partner, Mark, and their three beloved fur babies — and one curious cat. Debra's three wonderful children — Natalie, Jamie, and Josh — are now adults living on their own, and she is incredibly proud of the paths they’re each taking.
Debra is passionate about the outdoors and loves making the most of every season, whether it's snowboarding in winter, hiking Vermont’s scenic trails, or kayaking during the warmer months.
For over 30 years, she has been deeply involved in the Deaf community — a connection that has shaped both her personal and professional life. Debra has been teaching American Sign Language (ASL) for 21 years and recently transitioned from the high school classroom to teaching at the college level. Sharing ASL and Deaf culture continues to be one of the most meaningful and fulfilling parts of her journey.
