Denise Lopez Mazzeo has published articles and reviews in La Torre, Sargasso, and Forum, focusing on gender and migration from the Caribbean to the United States. Her research interests encompass photography, film, and architecture. She is currently working on her thesis — a Spanish translation of Lorna Goodison's Mother Muse (2021) — as part of the requirements for her second master’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedrras.
