About

Linn Caroleo joined the Department of Mathematics at Norwich University in 2017. Linn is also a Lecturer of Mathematics at Norwich University. Linn Caroleo is a Visiting Faculty member at the School of Business for 2022-23. 

She earned her BA at the University of California, her MS at California State University; and an EdD from the University of West Florida.

Dr. Linn Caroleo has been teaching mathematics for 22 years all over the United States. 

She got her doctorate for University of West Florida. Prior to that she was in the US Navy during the first Gulf War. And she was a Master Farrier, shoeing and training horses in VT, KY and CA. She grew up in Oslo, Norway and speaks 5 different languages. In May 2019, she will be the first College of Science and Math professor at Norwich to take a mathematics class abroad, she will take MA 232 Statistics to Berlin, Germany. She has been teaching at Norwich since Fall 2016. Her interests include ice hockey, hiking, rally cars, long range shooting and travelling abroad. In 2019 she will be visiting Prague, Czech Republic, Berlin, Germany, Geneva, Switzerland, Chamonix, France, Nice, France, Oslo, Norway, Winnipeg, Manitoba and Cortland, NY.
