Meet Coach Paul Booth – the epitome of consistency and leadership within the Norwich athletic department. For over three decades, he has been at the helm of a men’s basketball team that is more like a family, taking the program to the next level.

All-time wins leader in Norwich men’s basketball history, earning his 400th career victory during the 2024–25 season.
One of only 33 active NCAA DIII men’s basketball coaches to reach 400 wins.

“I’m truly humbled by this honor,” Coach Booth explained during the postgame 400th career victory celebration. “I’ve been here a long time, and this group is a special group, in terms of how they approach things, their work ethic, their passion, the way they represent the school. I’m thrilled to get this milestone with this particular group.”

Uncompromising in his pursuit of victory, Coach Booth deftly tailors the team’s playing style, capitalizing on the strengths and skillsets of the players. Whether it is playing inside out, aggressively looking for the three, full court pressure, or being a lockdown defensive team — he consistently puts players in the best position where they shine brightest, maximizing their abilities to help the team win.

He is not just a coach but a legend, coaching several of the top players in school history. Harnessing his vast network of alumni, he masterfully connects past, present, and future Cadet basketball players, forging an unwavering family spirit.
