Alaina earned her MS in Civil Engineering from Columbia University while working for Boeing and graduated from Boeing’s Emerging Leadership Development Program (ELDP), a selective, intensive, project-based, three-year program for Boeing’s next generation of leaders.

Alaina is a current member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Committee on Technical Advancement (CTA), is the past chair of ASCE’s Aerospace Division Executive Committee, and was responsible for organizing the 2020/2021 ASCE Earth & Space Conference.
