About

Captain Anirud Meyyur serves as the Operations Flight Commander for Detachment 867 at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont. At the Nation’s birthplace for ROTC and inside the only private Senior Military College in the country, he develops Premier Leaders of Character and Action through mentoring and teaching nearly 150 cadets annually.

He has spent his military career working in the satellite communications sector. He has experience at the tactical and operational level for satellite operations in narrowband, wideband, and protected band frequencies. In this previous assignment, he was responsible for coordinating with the U.S. Space Command to provide services to other combatant commands. Furthermore, he ensured that tactical units were executing operations within the parameters of the International Telecommunications Union.
