Kevin Pinkham
- Lecturer of English
About
Kevin, a third-generation Norwich professor, grew up in Northfield, Vermont, and has had the privilege of living in nine states across the U.S. and in Japan. His academic interests are speculative fiction, forgotten American authors, and 19th and 20th-century American fiction. He is the Assistant Nonfiction Review Editor for the Science Fiction Research Association. As the current faculty advisor of the Pegasus Players, Kevin works to foster a safe space for creativity and expression that spills over into the larger Norwich community.
Working at Norwich since 2021, Kevin has taught a variety of classes to a wide swath of students. He has been pursuing certification in Brightspace, Norwich's online learning platform, to assist his colleagues in building stronger course sites.
Kevin's hobbies include board games, hiking, foraging, cooking, and traveling. He watches far too much television, and has been accused of being obsessed with the Eurovision Song Contest. Family is very important to him, and the age difference between his oldest child and his youngest child is twenty-three years, a fact that he still hasn't fully comprehended.
