Kim Ward

Kim Ward is a poet, playwright, visual artist, and theater artist. She is the founder of the Vermont Playwrights Circle and received her M.F.A. in Performance Poetry from Goddard College in 1998. Her poem “Angel in the Fire” received the 1999 Playwrights Showcase Award from the Vermont Actors and Theater Artists Association and was also accepted for presentation at the New Frontiers Conference in 2000. She works with the annual International Women’s Day event and the Norwich University Pegasus Players, and she is passionate about accessibility, literacy, and global awareness. Ward has lived in Montpelier for more than twenty years and has taught English at Norwich University since 2016.
