Take your first step toward becoming an officer in the United States Navy by applying for the NROTC Preparatory Program (NPP). This prestigious scholarship is awarded to a select group of high school seniors who are eager to pursue a path toward becoming Navy officers and provides funding for five years of full-time study at Norwich University.

In partnership with the NROTC, Norwich University offers a one-year curriculum that blends rigorous academics with military training, specifically designed to prepare students for success in the NROTC program. During this preparatory year, Norwich University will cover room, board, and tuition through the General I.D. White Scholarship, allowing students to focus fully on their studies and training.

If you are selected for Norwich’s NPP and successfully complete the preparatory year, you will be awarded a four-year Naval ROTC National Scholarship. This scholarship will cover your tuition and fees, and you will also receive a monthly stipend to support your studies.The scholarship will be reserved for you at the start of your preparatory year and will be fully activated upon meeting all program and requirements.
