Each year, Norwich Clubs across the country coordinate Student Sendoff events for incoming first-years, transfers, returning, and graduate students as well as parents. Ranging from backyard barbecues to clambakes, these social gatherings are a great opportunity to meet and ask questions of current students, parents, and alumni.

Alan DeForest ’75, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Norwich University, proudly announces the unanimous decision to elect Lieutenant General John Broadmeadow ’83, USMC (Retired), as the University’s 25th president on April 19, 2024. LtGen Broadmeadow will officially transition from his Board of Trustees position to the presidential office on May 1, 2024, which will mark the first time in more than three decades that a Norwich alumnus will lead the school as its president.
On April 19, Norwich will recognize the senior cadet class for their service and contributions to our university and beyond and promote the new cadet chain of command for the 2024-2025 academic year. We invite Norwich and local communities to attend either in-person or virtually.
The on-campus event was a complete success, with over 250 Norwich University students adding their names to the National Marrow Donor Program registry to become potential donors.
